Inspired by events that has unfortunately become a trend and deeply entrenched in the socioeconomic and political fabric of the Nigerian society, my home land. A situation where old politicians, without meaningful aspirations for the betterment of the nation and it's masses but their selfish agenda to enrich themselves and their cronies are recycled every election era. They assume that it is their rights to perpetually be at the helm of government as they manipulate the electoral outcome in their favor, against the wishes of the general population. This song is calling on all citizens to stand up for themselves, the rule of law and what is right in order to install a legitimate and credible government that will be of the people and for the people. Delivered with a vibrant melodious afro-beats rhythm, well put together lyrics in a soulful voice. "To work, na to pray" creates a sonic phenomena of self realization, awareness, freedom and liberation for a people.
